Tea Blends
Digestive Support Blend ~ Chamomile, Tulsi, and Hawthorn berry help bring soothing relief and protective properties to the digestive system and beyond! Chamomile is great for relieving gas and intestinal spasms while Tulsi helps with stomach issues, especially those due to stress. Tulsi also helps to protect your digestive system and major organs from stress and works as an adaptogen to regulate a healthy stress response over time. Hawthorn helps to support healthy blood flow in the body, which is important for proper digestion and repair. It also brings a delicous yet astringent taste to the tea.
Heart Ease Tea ~ A blend of Corn Silk, Violet Blooms and Leaves, Hibiscus and Lemon Peel. The Corn Silk, Hibiscus and Violet are great plant allies for all things to do with your heart and circulation. The Corn Silk works as a gentle diuretic which in turn helps to regulate blood pressure. Hibiscus is packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C that work to help balance out your bodies free radical response. A balanced response means low inflammation in the body. A good thing considering all the latest research suggesting Heart Disease is actually caused from inflammation! Then there's Violet. A great choice for an abundant anti-inflammatory herb. Its also a gentle diuretic and lymphatic mover. Some would use the word cleansing to describe this plant ally. Violet is also good for relieving a dry cough due to inflammation. I also included the leaves in this blend because of their mucilage properties. This in turn helps to balance cholesterol levels. Viola Heartsease indeed! The name suites it well. I've added the Lemon Peel to give it a citrus kick. Its a sweet, earthy blend that we love iced with a bit of honey. Especially on hot summer days!
